Eligibility:
Entry must include an amateur photo of your child 12 years old or younger as of November 1, 2009. *Photo can have older siblings in it but one of the children has to be 12 and under. Photos can include: individuals, siblings, or the entire family. If your photo is chosen for the monthly photo shoot, judges may choose to use all or just one of the people in the photo.
To be eligible for this Contest, at the time of entering, you must be: [1] a natural person legally residing in, and physically located within, South Western Ontario, which includes all areas between Guelph and Windsor, or willing to travel to the listed area, at your own expense, for the photo shoot. [2] 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of the child/children in the photo and [3] willing to have your photo featured and published on the Website (parentguide.ca) in connection with, or to promote, the Contest. [4] willing to have your photo featured on the front cover of the New Parent Resource Guide or the School Age Resource Guide. [5] willing to have your photo featured in any other Parent Guide publication either in print or online. [6] a donation of 2 non-perishable food items or an unused toy or $10.00 must be received to qualify. All proceeds to The Salvation Army. |

Rules:
- All monthly submissions must be received by 11:59pm the last day of every month. The final month for submission is April 2010. Entries received after the deadline will not be considered. Donations must be received to qualify.
- You must be a Canadian resident to enter.
- The picture must include your child 12 years or under! The photo must be your own photo and not the work of a professional.
- Photos must not contain material that violates or infringes the rights of another, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement.
- All entrants agree that their submitted photo can be displayed on parentguide.ca.
- The winner agrees to have their name, likeness, and photo published as the winner of the "Picture my baby on the cover" Contest. The winner agrees that their photo can be published on the parentguide.ca website.
- The prize(s) are not exchangeable or refundable for cash.
- Parent Guide Inc. or partners are not responsible for lost, late, inaccurate, incomplete, damaged, or misdirected entries. All entries may be published on the parentguide.ca website, whether selected as the monthly winner or not. Nothing in these Contest rules obligate parentguide.ca to publish or otherwise use any photos submitted in connection with the Contest.
- The awarding of any photo shoot is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules.
- Parent Guide Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject, disqualify, modify, edit, and revise any entries. Parent Guide Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to verify any element of any entry or related materials and to disqualify any entrant whose participation may subject the contest, Parent Guide Inc., or advertisers, photographers, clients, or customers to controversy, negative publicity, scorn, or ridicule.
- Decision of the judges is final.
- All photographs will be considered the property of Parent Guide Inc. upon entry.
